Troy and I are signed up for the Fall Out for Autism 10K – it takes place on October 12th out at Hutchison Island. Last year I PRd at this event and look to PR again. Troy will be pushing Tedy and Ceci in the jog stroller. This is an event very close to our hearts because our son, Tedy is Autistic. This past July we finally received the developmental pediatric doctors report that we knew was coming for well over a year that our son is Autistic. For those of you wondering, he falls as moderately Autistic on the spectrum. Autism is so frustrating and there are so many unknowns. There is no “cure” so all we can do is make the best out of what we have. One way we do that is by raising awareness. Very few people (even family) realize that we have an Autistic child. Many people don’t even fully realize what Autism is – we are still learning the ropes as we go as well. Initially Troy wasn’t going to run this race but then he decided he needed to, he needed to help the cause and raise awareness as well and he wanted to do so with Tedy in tow. As some of you know, I’ve started up my own business, Rambling Mom (follow us on Facebook). Part of my business is making custom headbands “Rambling Bands” and running tutus (can make regular tutus and running skirts as well). To help raise money towards Autism Awareness I am offering the deal posted below. Please message me at: RamblingMom3@gmail.com to order. Thank you for your support!
